George «Whitey» Dockan (89) is one of the last full blooded Norwegians in Grand Marais, Minnesota. He slides back to his childhood because of Alzheimer’s disease. The memories of his Norwegian dad – who learnt him to swim, but not talk Norwegian – gets more clear, but his wife Gladys is afraid that the memories of today will disappear.
